Flip 2 It Summer Camp
Urban Gymnastics Camp
If your family is anything like mine, finding something for the kids to do in the summer while you’re trying to get some work done at home can be a
challenge.
The last thing my wife wants is for our son to sit around all day watching tv or the iPad, playing MindCraft or just being inactive.
I work from home and as such, I’d like the best work environment possible. While I love my son dearly, my productivity depends on my ability to get the items on my checklist, well, checked off. With him here, that’s just so tough.
Fortunately, we live in an area with a TON of things for kids to do in the summer. Ryan, my son, has a wide variety of choices for summertime camps and activities to keep him occupied and healthy the entire summer.
This week it’s Flip 2 Urban Gymnastics Camp. He’ll be flipping around from 830am to 230pm while I get some work done. I really like these camps because it keeps him active and moving during the summer in a safe and controlled environment.
Last week, he split his time between SkyZone Trampoline Camp and Roseville Recreation Center “Fit ‘n Fun” Camp. Both are lots of fun and he gets a good “workout” of sorts while socializing with other kids he doesn’t know.
We’ve attended camps at Flip 2 It in the past and Ryan has really enjoyed himself there. The cost for a half day, 830am to 1230pm, is $116 per week. Their week is Monday through Thursday. For the full week, 830am to 230am, it’s $162. The staff is friendly and the facility is well maintained. Lunch is not provided but that’s ok as most times, nutritious meals and snacks aren’t the focus.
You can add Friday as well for an additional fee. On Thursday, there is a pizza day for an additional $5. Below is their policies/rules sheet that’s handed out at check in.

Having lived in areas where there wasn’t as much organized fun for kids, I’ve grown to appreciate this area for having so much for kids and families to do. Makes those 109 degree days somewhat more tolerable . Stay cool!
