Sunrise At Two Oaks by DR Horton

New Homes In Rocklin

dr horton rocklin

Sunrise at Two Oaks is an interesting community.  It almost reminds me of a concept rather than just a new home development.

This development is actually two in one;  Sunrise at Two Oaks and Serenity at Two Oaks.  The Sunrise homes are smaller and less expensive than the Serenity homes which are larger and more expensive.  This isn’t all that unusual but what is, to me at least, is that there are two completely separate sales offices directly across the street from each other.

This would lead me to believe that DR Horton believes that this community is BOOMING! when I’m not seeing that especially during the second quarter of this year.

Anyway, it struck me as odd but what do I know..DR Horton has sold WAY more homes than I have and I’ve never built a development.  So there Smile.

This post will be about Sunrise at Two Oaks.  Like I mentioned in my last post about DR Horton’s approach, the development is made up of all 2 story homes with no 1 story homes according to the documentation they provided.  Community continuity has been sacrificed for profit.  This is something I thought the Rocklin planning department wouldn’t allow but perhaps it’s not their decision.

This side of the community, the perimeter side, will be roughly 281 homes total.  Ranging in square footage from 2538 to 3285, all homes will be at least 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  The price list and development layout as of today is below.

The square footage range for these homes is from 2538 to 3285 square feet, from 4 to 6 bedrooms and 3 to 4.5 bathrooms.   The floor plans are in the slider below.   The amenities here are consistent with most new homes in West Rocklin with the exception, like Parkview, of there being no solar option.  DR Horton is usually at the forefront of energy efficiency, or at least has been in the past, so it’s a surprise to me that solar is not included on these homes.

If you have any questions or comments about this or another development in West Rocklin, please let me know by leaving a comment below or send me an email.  I’ll get back to you promptly.
