Moo Moo’s In Rocklin
Tuesday Breakfast with My Favorite Person 
Most every Tuesday morning, I have breakfast with my wife Andi. She’s off on Tuesdays and Fridays so we try to have breakfast to talk about this or that but largely just to spend time together.
When leaving home, I just started driving without really thinking about where to go.
Generally we go to Four Sisters, our favorite place, but she thought a change would be good and I generally agree with most of her ideas.
Moo Moo’s
Andi gets her hair cut and the bike shop we use is in the same complex so she suggested “the new place”, Moo Moo’s Burger Barn. The name seems like something you’d see going up I-5 out of town lol! I guess we’re more country here in Rocklin than we think.
The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Very nicely done with country accents. The decor more downplayed than Granite Rock Grill though, and significantly cheaper.
My sense is they’re still trying to figure breakfast out. The food is very reasonably priced but the cook was new and learning the breakfast ropes. My eggs came out over done as did my pancakes. The bacon was good but the sausage was just ok.
I pointed this out to our server and she VERY politely took care of the issue, got me some new eggs with no attitude whatsoever. The service was very good all around.
Andi had biscuits and gravy which was pretty good. I’m picky about country sausage gravy, and clam chowder, and I wasn’t disappointed but not overly impressed either.
After our meal, the manager came over and visited with us, a very nice guy, and apologized for the eggs, explained that they were breaking in a new cook and said they’d to whatever they needed to do to make it right. Very nice I thought.
When a restaurant first opens there are kinks to work through. I think that’s the case with Moo Moo’s in Rocklin. That said, when you’ve got a good attitude, it was clear to me they did, it won’t be long before those kinks will be long gone and the food will get better. It wasn’t bad but does need improvement.
