In my guide to selling any home, click here, I’m pretty specific about what I think a seller needs to do to make their home as attractive as possible to the market. Upfront things like cleaning, reorganizing and overall sparkle really make a huge difference when presenting a home for sale.
All these great things a seller does will be all for naught if the pictures on the MLS aren’t high quality. I insist on professional pictures and think so much of them that it’s included with almost every listing I take.
That’s why the photo below mystifies me.
This beauty comes directly from the MLS on a home that is still for sale and has been for the last 17 days. As attractive a placeholder as it is, it just doesn’t cut it to get a home sold. People like pictures and videos. I think this is a very important marketing piece not to be missed or neglected regardless of the market.
