Laser Craze! Camp
In another “what the heck are we going to do with Ryan this summer?” installment, we have Laser Craze camp in Rocklin. This one is new for us as it is for Laser Craze according to Kevin Dawson, the Asst. GM of Laser Craze in Rocklin.
We’ve been going to Laser Craze since it opened and have always had a great experience there.
Unlike other laser tag centers (read: Golfland), this one is clean, clean, clean and they keep a close eye on everything going on within their walls. You get the impression someone is actually paying attention here..and they do in all respects.
There have been several times when I’ve been there and have heard them warning players not to run in the maze. (ok yes it was me!) In the semi dark, foggy conditions, perfect for playing laser tag, someone could get hurt and they don’t want that..neither do we!
Laser Craze camp includes:
- Special “Camp Only” Laser Tag Games (believe me Ryan got his fill!)
- Arts, crafts and other games
- Bounce obstacles (Ryan loves these as much as laser tag)
- Arcade games (another favorite AND they give out some tokens too)
- Prizes and awards
- Weekly ice cream and pizza parties
Pricing
At $195 for the week, it’s a little steep compared to other camps we’ve been in this summer so far. That said, it just may be the case that the value here is higher than other camps.
I do know that when they need to fill a camp, the price is reduced a little as an incentive. Most of the other camps do this as well. Skyzone offered us a discount if we came back successive weeks as did Laser Craze.
Location
Laser Craze is located at the corner of Blue Oaks Blvd. and Lonetree Blvd. just off highway 65 in the same building as the Blue Oaks Cinema. Pretty easy to find especially if you have a map handy. ————————————————> (click for a larger version) —–>
Summary
So you’ve got your nice, friendly staff , you’ve got your killer laser tag AND bounce houses AND arcade games PLUS a café that fills hole created by laser tag sessions in a very clean, safe environment. Yeah I think that’s a win! It has been for us. Give it a try I think you’re kids will love it. (and no I don’t own stock in Laser Craze )
In the gallery below are some photos I took today as well as a flyer on the camp.
