Lincoln Crossing Home Sales Report

Lincoln Crossing

The Lincoln real estate market is diverse.  You’ve got the older section of central Lincoln mixed in with a new community here and there, 12 Bridges, Lincoln Crossing and the Del Webb community.

Like most areas of the region, and the nation for that matter, the number of homes for sale is extremely low in Lincoln Crossing.  At the current pace of sales, there is just over one month worth of homes available.

This, and low mortgage interest rates, has driven prices up 9% over the same month last year.  Home values have climbed nicely this year without unusual bumps in the road.

It’s a sellers market.   That said, sales have slowed down over last year across the region.  Lincoln Crossing home sales are down 33.3%, pending sales are down 14.3% and, as I referenced above, the percentage of homes available for sale is down 18.9% over this time last year.

The Top 4 Reasons Real Estate Sales Have Slowed

Many things are at play this year in the slowdown of sales.

1) It’s an election year and a divisive one at that.

2) There just aren’t that many homes available to sell.  This could also be because it’s an election year.  People are just waiting to see which way the wind is blowing in November.

3)  Mortgage lending became a little tougher to get in June for some reason. For more information, Click here.

4)  We’re getting to the point where affordability is becoming an issue. For more information, Click here.
